Terms and conditions

Vipers Netball Club is now inviting Expressions of Interest from coaches for the 2026 Winter Season.

Coaches play a vital role in shaping not only our players’ skills, but also their confidence, teamwork, and love for the game. At Vipers, we pride ourselves on providing a supportive, inclusive, and development-focused environment, and we welcome interest from both experienced coaches and those new to coaching.

As a Vipers coach, you’ll be part of a passionate club community that values:
• Player development at all levels
• Positive coaching and sportsmanship
• Strong communication and support
• A fun and welcoming club culture

We are committed to supporting our coaches through mentoring, development opportunities, and access to accreditation pathways where possible.

Who Can Apply?
We encourage Expressions of Interest from:
• Accredited coaches
• Developing coaches or those new to coaching
• Past players, parents, and volunteers with an interest in coaching
Coaching opportunities are available across a range of age groups and divisions.

What We’re Looking For
Ideal applicants will:
• Create a positive and inclusive team environment
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and the club
• Support player development and enjoyment of the game
• Uphold Vipers Netball Club values, policies, and codes of conduct

Blue Card Requirement
All coaches 18 years of age and over are required to hold a valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or be willing to apply for one if successful. A link to the Blue Card application is provided within the Coaching Expression of Interest Form.

Terms and conditions

  • By submitting a Coaching Expression of Interest to Vipers Netball Club for the 2026 season, applicants acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

    1. Expression of Interest Only
    Submission of a Coaching Expression of Interest does not guarantee appointment to a coaching role. All applications will be reviewed by the Vipers Netball Club committee, and appointments will be made based on club needs, suitability, and availability.

    2. Eligibility
    Coaching positions are open to applicants with varying levels of experience. Applicants must meet any minimum eligibility requirements set by the club or governing bodies.

    3. Blue Card Requirement
    All applicants 18 years of age and over must hold a current and valid Blue Card (Working With Children Check), or be willing to apply for one if successful. Appointment to a coaching role is conditional upon Blue Card approval.

    4. Accreditation & Development
    While coaching accreditation is encouraged, it may not be mandatory for all roles. Coaches may be required or encouraged to undertake relevant training or accreditation during the season as directed by the club or governing bodies.

    5. Commitment & Availability
    Successful applicants are expected to commit to the full 2026 Winter Season, including training sessions, matches, and club activities, unless otherwise agreed with the club.

    6. Code of Conduct
    All coaches must adhere to Vipers Netball Club policies, codes of conduct, and values, as well as those of relevant governing bodies. Failure to comply may result in review or termination of the coaching role.

    7. Information Accuracy
    Applicants confirm that all information provided in the Expression of Interest is true and correct to the best of their knowledge. Providing false or misleading information may result in disqualification from consideration or removal from a coaching position.

    8. Privacy
    Personal information collected through the Expression of Interest process will be used solely for the purpose of assessing suitability and managing coaching appointments and will be handled in accordance with the club’s privacy obligations.

    9. Right to Amend
    Vipers Netball Club reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions or the coaching selection process at any time to meet operational or compliance requirements.
